Health Organizations Urge Major League Baseball to Ban Tobacco Products

Following the death of baseball Hall of famer Tony Gwynn, the American Dental Association (ADA) and eight other medical and public health organizations, sent a letter to the Major League Baseball Executive Director. In the letter, the organizations urged MLB to prohibit tobacco use at ballparks and on camera. This is reported in the ADA Journal.
